1980 Fender P-Bass Antigua

Has this one been posted/seen before? Lots of pictures of this bass.... $2790.

I think I've seen this before. $2780 is a lot for a bass that is "100% complete" with the exception of the original pickguard, thumb-rest, bridge cover, and nut.
So, it's... 80% complete, roughly...

..... some people just don't get the true meaning of complete, or original.... or pristine for that matter.....

There's an earlier thread about this one (Too lazy to search it right now), so that one's been floating around for a while now, along with the Antigua Coronado (same seller).

I want this bass... BAD.

As a standard color like natural, black or sunburst it'd be worth MAYBE $1500, all original...

but...

As an Antigua without the original pickguard... I think about $2K is max.
