Although this specific neck and build isn't a lefty, this model will be available in both a lefty and righty configuration. This will feature a 1-7/8" nut width on a 22 fret 34" scale neck. The body has an added upgrade of a contoured heel and mounting ferrules (instead of a mounting plate) for easier upper fret access. Standard bridge width is 17.5mm or 18mm spacing, but I will also have this available with a 19mm bridge option that utilizes a slightly different neck (a wider heel is required to support the wider string spacing)

I have the neck completed minus the finish application, and it's heading off to the finish shop for a satin finish late next week.

I'll update this thread with images of the body at a future date ...

all the best,

R

this one is finally in the active queue again and making progress. the image here is right after the first two strings were installed so I could validate the bridge placement and neck alignment for an even string gap on each side of the neck

Image

my client decided to change from the originally spec'd the Type B bridge and is substituting a Vintage bent plate bridge instead, so the installed bridge will soon be replaced with a different one. the custom pickguard will be on its way shortly, so this bass should be wrapping up in the next couple of weeks. the B-string resonates nicely even without a nut

all the best,

R

I'm also about to deliver a VRB-PJ5 in a 35" scale version. here it is just before I cut the mint/b/w/b pickguard on the CNC. as you can see, even without the nut installed those strings are pulling straight and even across the neck 8-)

I'm able to offer this 35" scale version in a lefty as well 8-)

all the best,

R
