I like those a lot. I only wish the pickups were not so hot. You can always replace it by a Fender Original 60'. They usually sell for for the starting bid price, around $600.

It is apparently sold by board member JohnTheLeftyBassist

Yep, that's quite a deal for an American made P-Bass.

It is indeed mine a very nice bass at that.I'm also selling the Pedulla MVP/5 I got from another member here(refer to the sold section)I have to raise cash quickly so I had to bite the bullet.I will be buying again in about ten to twelve weeks.Gonna be a tough go financially for a couple months but more basses will be there for me at the end.

I really, really want this bass. Can't convince the wife right now to let me spend the funds on this. I have wanted a olympic whitep bass for a while. Frustrating when it's right there, but can't have it. Argh!!

I totally agree. I love those! I used to have an SB-2 and it sounded absolutely superb.
John, does this have a true P-neck or does it come with a J-sized neck like the SB-2 does?

Will you ship internationally? I'm in the Netherlands and I'm very seriously tempted.

Wish I had the funds for this month or I'd have been on that auction for sure.

I love the sound of my G&L LB-100, but precision type necks are not for me. I am an ex(current) guitar player, and I never got accustomed to the much wider neck. Good to know that the SB1 has a jazz neck, but too bad you had to sell it.
