Like most of you I've had a ton of basses over the years, but these stick in my head as the ones that 'got away'. Should be interesting to see if any of you are the current owners of these guys!

The BSX was awesome- but I didn't think I would use it any more when I bought an acoustic upright, so I sold it to an excited young chap in Ireland. I kick myself for that one every time I lug around that huge Engelhardt.

My first bass- The cream P Bass was Indonesian, but as far as I was concerned, it couldn't have been better if it were made by Leo himself. It helped make me who I am, but I fell on some hard times in college and had to sell it. I think it went to another young bass rookie though, so that's rewarding in some beautifully sappy way I guess! The circle of life! ;0)

The Pedulla MVP 5- I bought this one on the cheap from a guy in FL and loved it. But it needed a little TLC, so I took it to a repair guy I didn't know (I was new in town) and he butchered the wiring, and it was never the same. I couldn't figure out what he did and was frustrated with it, so I ended up selling/trading it away. I wish I had been a little more patient....

That BSX is/was awesome. Was that a true lefty or a converted righty?

The BSX was a true lefty. Dino at BSX makes them lefty without the discriminatory upcharge! And Musicans Friend offers them now so you can take advantage of the 12 month financing- just what we all need...more reason to buy a bass!
