This was my old bass and it has the thinnest Warwick neck on the planet. It's like an Ibanez guitar neck. Great Bass but I have 3 basses coming and don't need it but it is a killer one. I bought it and it had a bad neck and I had to order a new one directly from Germany for $500 alone. Lost my azzz big time on this deal but that’s the game sometimes.

And you sir were too kind !! BEST WARWICK bolt-on I have played hands down. I hate to let it go Joe but alas I need the cash to fund a custom lefty Birdsong HY5. They are pricey but I think will be worth it to try Scott's 31" 5-string with dual through-body bridge. Just call me "short arms".

Thank you, I love finding basses that need some TLC and bringing them back to life. I have another project coming in a couple days a 10 or more year old Spector I will take apart completely and do everything possible but strip it. Beg Bends scratch repair and polishing compounds, cleaning fingerboard and frets. Making sure frets are level, maybe a new preamp and case and a killer set up then love her for a little and send her back out into the world. I have the home for wayward basses…..I watched another member here take a similar bass and just did magic to it and it looks like a museum piece now just amazing what he did. It ain’t for the money that’s for sure but I love doing it…

Man, I love how Warwicks sound, but I hate the ergonomics. My first "good" bass was a Thumb, and oh my, did it give me back and shoulder pain. . . I recently had a lovely Corvette, which had much better balance, but it still felt uncomfortable to play, like the body was too small, and the upper horn still too short. But, man, do they sound good. . .

Isimy, I hope you like your Birdsong. I had a four-string once that they had in stock. Comfortable indeed, although I also thought the body was a bit "too" small, about the size of a guitar, and personally I couldn't get any good low end out of it, to my ears. I think the pickups might have been at fault, because my 30"-scale Rogue Beatle bass has the biggest low end of any bass I've had. Great quality, and Scott is such a nice guy.
