Eastwood has begun to producing the left version of his Classic 4 bass (in walnut colour):

I think someone else posted something about this a few weeks ago, it bears repeating though... that thing is gorgeous. I don't really know anything about Eastwood, what kind of price range are we talking about here?

It's $499 + $99 for the hard case. I plan on ordering the Classic 4 and the Classic 12 string, which sounds just like a 12 string Rick to my ears for a fraction of the cost.

It is a cool bass, but I have read several reviews that the intonation is a real problem. Of course I heard the same about Hofner violin basses and mine was never an issue, even high up the neck. So who knows. I may still take a chance on one :mrgreen:
