I always am on the lookout for a TB48-L but in black :)
If I would have seen it before you and before I bought my Lefty kramer Forum...well.....

:lol: i was the same but the color i always wanted was white i had the chance to get a lefty sunburst but i waited hoping to find a white one and i did :D

I always wished they would have imported a 1/2million of those things for the USA....

yeah and if iam not mistaken the made in korea tokai's are better the the the newer/current made in china tokai's ? thats what i heard from a couple different reveiws and forums and my guitar/bass tech told me the "chart" goes like this Made in Japan=The Best Made in Korea=The 2nd Best and Made in China The 3rd Best

I had a Dillion MIK setneck righty bird pretty much the same thing as the tokai's, and NEVER had an issue from it fit, finish, or electronics playability. I still have 1 bird left MIJ, but it is a Jackson. The only thing I never liked about the Dillion was the "sharp" slab-body edges, but beyond that I used it a lot before selling it. ( because I play inverted, flipping tbirds takes ALL the neckdive out of them ) :)

out of all the units over here it will probably be the last one to go if times get that bad.... the list of people who are always asking the same thing grows every year, even form the TB'ers who live in the UK.

been playing around with it sounds great you can get alot of different sounds out this bass also feels really solid so far like it was made really good beats the epiphone imo

How's the balance? T-Birds are notorious neck divers and one of the nice things about the Epi T-Birds (though obviously not as historically accurate in build or tone) is they have bolt on necks so you can swap out one of the neck bolts for a strap button and offset the balance issues.

it does have the famous thunderbird neckdive lol but thats not really a problem for me just keep your hand on the neck and you'll be good :)
