I have a bass posted on the bay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150543650968&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT#ht_5743wt_1141

Someone asks a question to send him better pics, which I am unable to do. I was just wondering if the photos I have posted on eBay should be sufficient?? On some of them you can even see the dust and lint! Just curious.

I'd say your pics are quite good for an ebay auction. What other pics do they want from you?

Your pictures are as good as it gets and perfect for a REAL buyer. Unfurtunately many "tire kickers" love to pester for sound clips and pictures of the screws for the pickups and other unreasonable crap because they are thinking you have nothing better to do like them. Send them a pic of your grundle

It's amazing how much of that you find on Ebay now - not just for musical instruments. People ask for the strangest things and then want you to sell them the item off-auction anyway. I'm not exactly sure what kind of pictures they were asking for in this instance, but in general I just try to be firm with the unreasonable requestors.

Your pictures are quite good - heck, I can see finger grease on the fretboard in the second pic, dust on the pickguard, and the fuzz on your comforter! Your pictures are 98% better than most pics I see on eBay.... tell the "asker" that your pictures are as good as they need to be. I can see if he wants a picture of your control cavity, the back of the headstock, but that would just to be thorough. Your pictures are more than fine......

Your pics are great. The problem might be that the potential buyer doesn't see them. When you click 'enlarge' it only shows the main photo, and for some reason in your listing there's a big gap of empty space between the listing and where the photos begin. You might just want to suggest they keep scrolling.. ;)

Although it looks like your bass was tuned prior to pictures, I can tell the G string is a bit sharp.

Seriously - For the most part ignoring "cork sniffers" works as a great plan of "action". Your ad copy is extremely thorough and the images (with captions!) are first rate. Sometimes you just get the feeling that the requests/complaints will never end (so don't let them start).
That is a great looking bass by the way.

your pics are fine. Tell them they should buy a magnifying glass or a monitor with a better resolution than 620x480.

Your pics are fine. I played that bass once; it was pretty nice.

Personally, I would like to see closeups of the neck, back and front, between the 5th and the 7th frets, to make sure there are no dead spots.
