I asked to Roman if it's possible to have the 2 pickups version without pickups, and this is the answer:

"...this is quite possible, pls only give me the PU size We could make the slot."

Umm ... i suspect that the main point is the pick up availability.

I asked him to quote me the bass with a second pick up but never heard back from him so i guess that he's more interested in doing this kind of job rather than using one more pu in a lefty.

It's nice they're going with a finish color besides black, but why red? I don't recall ever seeing a Non reverse T-Bird bass in translucent red.

Bach make a red Fenderbird bass, I'm wondering about the color choice on the non-reverse T-Bird.

Wow, I am so disappointed.
I've been with you from the beginning of this project Iome and I appreciate all your hard work, but for BaCH to change the deal so drastically like this after all this time and effort on your part and patience on ours, is a deal-breaker.

Good luck to those of you who decide to go forward, I hope everything turns out satisfactory and look forward to your reviews.

Decided to go ahead and ordered a one pickup Bachbird anyway. I wanted a mahogany bass for a long time and i like the model.

Thanx iome for all the effort!

I hope you will be good enough to leave a review when you get it. My current 2 fave bassists used NR T-birds so I'm now thinking of buying one if they are good.

Thats nice Thunder, i'd get one if i had the possibility, i think the one pickup looks nicer and i like the color. In case they make the second PU cavity and pot hole for 10€ extra and you can choose the dimensions of that cavity.
How much did they ask you for the bass? A couple of guys here in EU was asked 235€ thats 37€ more than we agreed..... :(

Same here. So in total, including shipping in Europe, its still under the sale price on their webstore (and thats excl. shipping). Still a nice offer i guess.

Sure it's a nice price, but still 37€ more than agreed.
Anyway, i've had the righty version when they made the very first run, great bass with a very low action and very comfortable, just move the strap button on the heel of the neck.

I asked Roman, if the bass is not yet completely finished, to put my strapholder at the heel so i won't have a useless hole in the body. I hope this is still possible.

How long ago did you place your order? Did you sent him a reminder? I did some e-mailing with him and sometimes i have to wait a couple of workdays but he always answers. But keep the language simple.

That sounds good lads, let us know how things works out, ones the bass is shipped it'll be in the USA in a week/10 days.

Here's some samples of a 2 pickup Bach Fenderbird, same PUs as the Non reverse:

The Fenderbird seems to sound a little snappier due to the maple neck. Sounds great. They have a lefty available.
But i liked the looks of the NR better because the Fenderbird looks to flashy for my own boring appearance

Here is a 'Bachbird' clip from the same guy.
