Ok lads, finally i got some news, i'll send the list of people who wants the Lefty Bachbird to Bach. So now you can send a mail to: bachmusik@bachmusik.com referring to your nickname and they will reply (in a couple of years or four :D ) with all details.
Remember to be very clear and use simple words. Tell them what colour, how many P.u.'s you want (they also sell a nice Hscase for it) and give them a location for a shipping quote.
They will also send you the payment details, remember to do the transfer in € otherwise you might have to pay extra because somebody somewhere made a mistake with the change.
Good luck.
If you need help let me know.

Oh wait, maybe thats what he was trying to tell me!! I was on the list for a 2 pickup version! So the 1 pickup version is the only version. He asked me if i wanted to buy a 1 pickup version, i thought he was referring to the one on the webstore..

Bas ,

thank You for Your mail .
The project has been drawn the most easy way orginally – TH-1 left hand in one color i.e. transparent red.
TH-1 has only one PU . Unfortunately We have no free PU We could put it on the bass.
Can You accept it ?

Tks for Your reply .

Roman
BaCH Music , Czech

Sorry for creating a little panic.

Thanks for all your hard work on this, Iome. You deserve a lot of credit for dealing with all of our impatient bickering (from myself especially).

Thanks mate, i don't mind doing this, it just piss me off they didn't tell me there only was one version to choose. they must have been working on them for a while, so they could have made it public before...

So they're making it a regular order item now, not a special order requiring 20 people ordering in order to produce it?

Because a one pickup model in translucent red doesn't interest me.

Big disappointment ... Roman replied the same to me, exactly the same mail.

I replied to him asking what is the final price to obtain the two pick up version with the requested finish, still can'get any response.

It's sad to be suspicious but i guess that this lefty thing is a pain in the @$$ from Bach point of view ...

I also put my order in immediately and have not heard back. So let me get this straight: he's basically received at least 5 confirmations or so from lefties so far requesting their 2 PUP models with 15 or so more guys coming, and he still can't justify making any? :?: :x

I appreciate all your efforts, Iome, but this is typical manufacturer's BS towards lefties. Get our hopes up and then say forget it a year later.

Well I'm out. Not interested in a 1 PUP. Good luck to any of you guys ordering one anyway and let us know if it was worth it.

Yeah I think I'm out too. The whole point of us getting the group together was to make it economically viable for them to produce a batch of lefties to spec. Changing the game after a year of waiting is a dealbreaker for me.

I understand you, guys. I guess they prefer selling them in a regular way for a 100€ more on their site. I'll bet (a Bachbird) they'll soon pop up on their site for 290,63€.
There's even a lefty Fenderbird (with 2 P.U.) available on their site: http://www.bachmusik.com/en/bach-ft-1-or-lh_p1552

Thanks you very much iome... well I opted out for other reasons, but Bach answer is a pity. Bacchus seems dificult to manage...

No, wait Bajito, it's Bach (B&CH) from the Czech Republic, not Bacchus, who's a Japanese brand that build fine handmade instruments. Anyway your right, it's damn hard to communicate with them, it's a pitty because the really build some nice basses, i've had a righty TH1, very nice bass worth every cent and even more.
I would buy a one P.U. and (maybe) drill another cavity for a second p.u. but i'm out of dinero and the last thing i need is another bass so i'm passing too  I even got a couple of Gibson Tbird p.u.'s laying around waiting for a housing.
