actually ... if he's using vacuum clamping to hold the bodies/necks instead of manual clamping there would be need for an entirely new set of holding tools. depending on the design and body contours, it could get significantly expensive rather quickly.
I like vacuum clamping for the ease of clamping and the elimination of hand work to cut off the clamping ears and blend the area into the surrounding surface. it's how I'm planning to go with my CNC. the downside is that I need to provide drawings to a local machine shop for the vacuum tooling - one pair of tools per body (or neck) and orientation at a few hundred $$US per tool, it'd be even more if I had to pay to have the engineering design drawn up
