Anyone tried one of these yet? I bought one at GC and have been astounded by the weight (33lbs.), the tone and the volume!! $599 if you don't have connections...

I start raving on page 4 of this thread:

I had an MB112 for a couple of years and while I liked the tone for practicing, I found that I always needed an extension cab to be heard in a band situation.

Sold it, got a Shuttle 6.0 and am satisfied (for now)

A luthier friend of mine that works on my electronics just got one of these combo's. I must say, its light, punchy and sounded pretty darn good for what it was. It got pretty loud for being a 30LB combo. My only gripe was the rubber handle on the top snapped and was loud as hell. Other than that, good price for what you get and you can disable the piezo tweeter from a press of a button if needed.

Great price!!

Recommended.

What I meant by "snapped" was you pull it, let off your hand and it will snap back down.. Not it snapped as it broke. 8-)
