So, I actually think I am going to put this one on the market, which is hard for me to believe. I just don't need three headless basses. Anyway...
$2,250 for forum buddies.

• Bartolini Jazz pickups.
• Carbon/graphite neck that is extremely stable. It doesn't even have a truss rod.
• The fretboard is Phenowood, which is wood, usually birch, that has been impregnated with a phenolic resin.
I love the way this thing plays! The neck is thin and the fretboard is flat. It also sounds like a Jazz!
This bass does not require double-ball strings, but it does come with a double-ball string adapter that I got in an attempt to make re-stringing it easier.
DISCLAIMER: This thing is a real bitch to re-string. There is probably a trick to it that I haven't figured out yet, but I haven't felt like spending the money on a bunch of sets of strings to experiment with it.
I won't be able to ship June 10-18. After that, it will hit the public market. Forum buddies get a discount, of course.

I never really "got" what a Rick is capable of until I ran it stereo a few times in my college band. We used to call it the "Piano of Doom". You get all the bottom and all the top in total a**kicking mode.
