But seriously.

Lefty P and J models in the new Player series will be coming in 4 variations each with 2 maple and 2 pau ferro neck options. And we'll get more than just Black and Sunburst to choose from, including a new white, red, and blue colour.

I can't post pictures or any price details yet, I can only say they exist and they really really look good.

I had a dream that a bunch of ex-Fender folks bought Gibson, set up manufacturing in Mexico, and kicked off the new venture with a run of lefties covering all models, to make up for our pain and suffering in the past... I should ease up on the beers before bedtime

That crossed my mind too. I haven’t looked it up yet but maybe it’s a line of instruments that already exists for the current upside down market and for that reason it might not necessarily warrant an announcement for lefties?

It’ll be interesting to see how they go about re-branding the Standard series then. They did some nice changes when they turned American Standard into the pro series.
