I have been trying to order a maple/maple Jazz USA neck from Fender. Epic fail and I was wondering if anyone has had any success with this? |

The only way you're gonna get a lefty maple/maple neck is if it's attached to a mod shop or custom shop bass. They don't offer maple/maple replacements. |

I am convinced that Fender and Gibson are part of a grand plan to piss of every left handed bass player on the planet. I am going to drive up to the Fender office tomorrow and ask WTF? |

Well as much as it sucks, the grand plan is to make money, and there just aren't enough of us. |

Moses wrote: There's always Warmoth or USACG Yeah I think I kinda dig the Warmoth Roasted Maple neck. So I did ask Fender about how I would replace a Maple neck on an older JBass (I have a few) and they said they would get back to me. The fender people were really nice and seemed to actually care. I just asked the simple question " I can order a maple neck with a rosewood board how hard would it be to just not put the rosewood on?". I tried to explain that I prefer the maple only for my live sound for its brighter tone and the rosewood for recording for its warmer sound. AzWhoFan I saw your message this morning. Next Time dude. |

Hopefully Fender gets back to you with a maple fingerboard option. |
