The A string looks thicker than the E string. Is that just because it's raised off of the bridge more, or is it strung strangely? |

I really have GAS for this bass. It is just so non-standard. |

I take it back: not strung lefty. I had a dyslexic moment. My guess would be the E and A are steel, and the D and G are gut/nylon. It's an elegant design, right down to the little false heel in the middle of the neck. |
