Mine arrived. Haven't been able to plug in yet, but build quality seems damn good. The neck is really thin but plays nice. Here it is:

Looks good. No pickguard? I was gonna remove it first thing. How's the gig bag?

Gig bag is like any shitty bag you'd get at Guitar Center for 20 bucks. Guess it'll do the job in a pinch.

It really is. I'm pleasantly surprised. I have a buzz around the 7th-8th fret area on the D string, but right now I'm chalking it up to crappy strings. Neck seems fine.

That looks awesome!

Cool saddle. Looks like it's coarsely adjustable for intonation with maybe some small parts to keep an eye on when changing strings.

The bridge is almost identical to a Höfner, except there are Allen screws for height on the bass & treble side. Intonation should be no problem, just like a Hoffy.

Ah. I've never handled a Hofner.

When I was looking at the blueprint on the site the pickup looked Hofneresque.

Yep it is Ronn. I'm toying with the idea of installing a second one with Cavern spacing, but who knows...

That Sunburst is beautiful! It's way nicer than I expected - it just glows.
Mine's due Monday :D
