Does anyone happen to have any contact with Gaskell? Over the summer I bought one of the last T-Bird basses and the fret-board is uneven. It seems to increase towards the nut. I still have warranty and I have sent him many emails... Yet nothing. If anyone has any leads or wants pics of the fret-board, please, let me know. Thanks!

Sorry to hear about your issues. He made an announcement on August 24th that they were going on indefinite hiatus, so I take that to mean they're out of business. Not sure how to reach him, unfortunately, sorry. :(

Well, on his twitter it said he was moving? Which I hope is the case because the only bass I really want IS a thunderbird.
I guess Gibson is really at fault for never making a left handed one?

Well that's good news if he's only moving, as I hate to see a lefty dealer go under. I own one of Gaskell's Explorer copy base.s

BTW, Gibson did make lefty T-Birds, but only for 1 year (2013). They also offered 4 other bass models that year (Les Paul, Midtown/EB-2 style, SG/EB3-style, and their new EB bass). The T-Birds pop up for sale used from time to time. There are a few other companies out there making T-Bird copies like Dillon in 4 and 5 strings, though the headstock's reversed:

2013 was THE year for lefty Gibson basses. I was lucky enough to nab all I wanted.
I had one of those Dillion T-Birds.
It was well made but very heavy.
I sold it 'cause I just couldn't get on with it ergonomically, a T-Bird doesn't "fit" me.
