This looks cool! Anybody interested in seeing if we can get a couple of lefties made? In Cherry?

Played a show over a decade ago and the support act's bassist had one, it was fabulous!

I emailed Mike. Hopefully he'll get back to me with a number - hopefully a small number. Not sure what the quantity difference would be reg. shop vs CS

So Mike replied;
"if we get only 4 lefties, we will make them. If not, we will refund the pre-orders."

I'll put a deposit on it today!

Yes we need details. Deposit amount, color options for us, etc?

Deposit is $150. There's no area to state specific colour or lefty. I emailed saying I just put a deposit on a Saturn IV and am interested in left handed only - if not possible I would like a refund.

The total amount to get the bass made looks to be 8 - with my deposit its funded to 50%!

I'm in! Question is, how accurate will his copy be? I only see the Vox model there. Will he copy the headstock shape, for example? His attempt at the Ovation Magnum was a bit of a let down, so I'd like to see how far he takes it first.

It should be very close looking at the "blueprint" The magnum was a complicated bass with lots of odd ball parts and design - it didn't translate well to a copy. The Saturn IV is a simple design - I think they'll do a good copy, it's super affordable and should be a cool little bass

I want that skinny neck, played that model once and it was sweet!

Dig the looks, but I just don't know if there's room in my heart for a bass with only a mudbucker.

The website says it's got a single coil pickup. So that's not a problem!

Pickup in the "blueprint" looks like a Hofner "staple" pickup.
