G&L posted a picture of my most recent order, hopefully it doesn't hang out at the border for too long... JB-2 in Sonic Blue frost finish on Alder, gloss maple neck and board.

Fender does not make a Jazz Bass with a maple neck, get a G&L and you'll get an awesome color on the top of it. I love it. |

For some reason I thought they had stopped the Fender American Design thing. I am glad to hear it is still happening. Hopefully they fixed this quality issue. |

Did you get a weight on this one? The weights on the Empress basses have been super light; that's what I'm hoping for |

I don't think I'm going to do Swamp Ash again, my SB-2 is a hair over 10lbs. I think if I was going with an alternative wood choice, it would be a Sugar Pine LB100. I like how the brightness of a pine body works with a p-bass pickup. |
