 Post subject: G&L ASAT bass refinish

Some of you will remember this bass from an Ebay auction, yes i've got it and refinished in Vyper Red, same color used on the Dodge Vyper. My friend has a body shop and painted it for me for free, i did most of the sanding and prepping and he did the priming and painting. It still needs a fini polishing but i couldn't wait! :mrgreen:

That looks great Paulo. That finish compliments the bass nicely. I also was going to bid on it to do a refinish on. Glad someone here got it. Do you know what electronics are in that bass?

That looks awesome. They should add Viper Red to the R/T series.
The matte black bridge and rosewood board make the red jump out.

This is my first G&L bass so i am not familiar at all with the electronics but Yolly111 said it is the exact same electronics as the L2000.

And I hope I am right! My understanding is that only the body changes vs a L-2000, electronics and pups should be the same.

LOVE the red finish, nice work!
