as the old timers here know I have a slew of Japanese Charvels and Jacksons.
Rightys and leftys, but never had the opportunity to purchase a USA made lefty because of the price.
Well my friend Rob Lehman must have felt sorry for me and sold me his only bass out of about 30 lefty USA Jacksons. For the price I was not about to say no plus he said he only used it for recording many years ago and has sat in the case for over 10 years. It was made to mirror the guitar with the maple FB in the picture.

1999 Ontario built with a bartolini in it. Came with the build sheets, case candy, pictures of the build, MOP logo and inlays, ebony FB.
It is a sig bass so his name is on it, but so what...lol

I know this is trivial compared to some of the extremely rare lefties that people have, but it is a milestone for me :P

Very cool man, congratulations!

Does it sound as bad ass as it looks?

i was puzzled why he took the emg out and put a passive bart in, but after playing it, to me it is just as good as anything emg would offer without the bas/treb adjustments.

next step will be to flip the strings around and toss a jackson preamp behind that bart. I'll use a stacked pot so I don't have to drill another hole so if it sounds nasty, I can just take it back out.
