Hi Comrades, I am a new member, and have been looking for an original fender fretless precision for years. I thought about buying a 70s righty fender maple fretless neck and putting on a lefty fender precision body a modern one maybe. The nut would need work, but other than that, what should I check? Is there a guideline on precision necks fitting to precision bodies from different eras etc.? |

Do you want "original" or not? And if you don't, why would you bother searching for vintage parts and then paying the premium for them when you can get a superior product from Warmoth for less money? I'm not an expert, but as far as I know Fender neck pockets have always been symmetrical. It's worked twice for me. YMMV, who knows. |
