Bc rich is a 78 short horn mockingbird made of koa wood with maple stringers. Handmade in the USA original bc rich factory. Badass bridge, partial active electronic package, and bartolini pups currently installed the way I bought it- but I have the original dimarzio PAF pups I plan on having installed. These early bc rich basses are the best I've ever used and if I ever come across another one (preferably an eagle) I'd love to pick it up. Ever since I got this bass I've been in love with the vintage BCR's. Aria pro II SB was made in the original matsumoku factory in Japan in 1981. Oval inlays, swamp ash body, neck thru construction. Maple neck with walnut pinstripes. Truly amazing bass.

I love mine! I always think of mid 80s flotsam and jetsam, or early 80s black sabbath. Everyone used these back then- the tone and tonal variety is incredible |

I've never touched a lefty Rich from that era, but did jam a lot on many different righty's as they were a popular bass in my neck of the woods in those days. I always felt they were ahead of their time in terms of design fit finish and tone. How fortunate of you to own a lefty! Can't be many of those around. |

Let me tell you they're amazing. I love mine! They're amazing basses and i consider them to be far ahead of their times in every aspect of it- tone, tonal variety, body shapes, electronics package, construction, finish/woods, playability, and reliability. I can't say enough good things about them. I'm extremely grateful to have found my own! Apparently a USA lefty bass by bc rich is very rare and I'm grateful to have my own all for myself. |
