I was upset a few weeks ago when I found out that Sam Ash not only had in stock but was closing out their lefty Les Paul basses. I have wanted one of these for as long as I can remember. But what did I find today when I happened across the Sam Ash website? http://www.samash.com/les-paul-standard ... ba13lhsd-p It was a returned bass that is said to be in new condition and was a steal (in my eyes) at $979. I would prefer a goldtop but I am not complaining. Well, when I called to order it the sales guy gave me an addtional $100 off! So I scored this beauty for $879 shipped! I cant wait to get this thing. Real pics to come. |

Ive only had a short time with it , but loving it so far. The color is gorgeous and a looks a lot better in person than any pics Ive seen. It's a lso larger than I expected,not in a bad cumbersome way, just also unexpected. The sound is thunderous and playability out of the box was fabulous. Looking fwd to putting more time on it and getting it in the band situation. Bad cell phone pic from my desk:
