Very cool. Where'd you find a set of purple chicken head knobs?

At first I thought I was looking at a reverse P PUP configuration, then I realized you string your bass backwards. I actually prefer the sound of a reverse P over the standard setup. More even tone across the strings, IMO.

I had 'em around and always wanted to put 'em on a bass, figured this bass would be the one.

Admit it, you pulled those knobs off your Easy Bake oven, didn't you? ;)

There was a British guy selling a lefty '77 Fender Mustang bass in natural finish on Arni's site a couple of months ago. He was asking 900 pounds + shipping but was entertaining reasonable offers. I don't know if it sold or not, but it's still listed. That's about $1400 US with shipping I'm guessing, or less if he accepts a lower offer. I have no idea what the market value of a real Mustang bass is though.
