I can't think that paying $2000 for a 3001 is sensible no matter how rare a left handed model might be. They sound like arse and look even worse. |

Correct me if I"m wrong, but it looks like a bass designed to look like and compete with the Fender P-bass. Which makes me think it would have been originally in the $500-1000 range... It just doesn't look like a $2000 guitar.... nor apparently sounds like one according to some of you.... |

Agreed. I tried a righty back in the 80s, it sounded BAD. And I LOVE Rics. |

I like the sound of the 3000/3001 basses. You can here a bit in the video "Teddy Picker" by the Arctic Monkeys (even if i can't tell if the one played in the video is a 3000 or 3001). To me the bass sounds like a precision with a "piano-like" hi end. |
