New to the site. I posted this on leftyfrets.net and they pointed me over here to see if someone could help.
Over the years I migrated from bass to mandolin and have stayed with that instrument. I've held on to the last bass I bought for over 20 years thinking I might pick it up again one day. Now I'm thinking about selling it to put towards a new mandolin purchase. I have a pretty good idea on the used market for lefty mandolins but am fairly clueless about the used market for a lefty bass.
I'm hoping you guys can tell me what a reasonable asking price is for my Aria Pro II SB-1000? I bought the bass in 1989 but if I'm reading the serial number right based on matsumoku.org it was built in 1981. The serial number is 102019. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
