Vintage burst would be my first choice too. Classic. Congrats!

Thanks guys! I have no idea how long I will be waiting but hopefully Gibson has these ready to go. The store I ordered from here in Canada (Long & Mquade), has some of these on order all ready but none have arrived at their head office yet and they could not give me any idea of how long she might take. hopefully it will be worth the wait.

Wow! Crabby you are definitely expanding your horizons. First a Warwick, now a Gibson... what's next? :)

Merry Christmas man!

Just to be clear, it's a chambered body, which might sound more like a solid body than a hollowbody.

Looks sexy, though. Less feedback than a hollowbody. And I like that pickup in the true "neck" position.

From what I read about these the tone sits somewhere between a hollowbody and a solid body, but in a good way. I'm curious to hear/play this bass.

And the price is reasonable too. I can't wait to read a review.
