| Post subject: | Boulder Creek Producing Lefty Acoustic Basses for the Fall |
Hi all: Just got my copy of bass player magazine last night. Page 85 has an announcement by Boulder Hill that they will be offering a lefty version of the Cedar Top EBR3 Series for fall of 2012. I had talked to folks at Boulder Creek, and they said that they will be doing 4 and 5 string acoustic basses. Bass Player magazine gave the bass an editor's award. I'll see if they can send me prototype pictures to post. Has anyone played these basses and can comment on them? I am going to try one in my area some time later this week or weekend. |

I am in touch with the AR department and plan to go there and demo the prototype lefty. I also will be writing a review on it following. Stay tuned for a few weeks for an update. They just got back from Summer NAMM. |

Glad to hear they're finally moving forward with left hand models... I had sent Mike Shellhammer of Boulder Creek an email about a year ago, which can be seen in this thread.... viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2977&p=20893&hilit=boulder+creek#p20893 ... would love to own one of these unique basses one day! |
