 Post subject: how to raise the action on an acoustic bass

i have an Oscar Schmidt by washburn and the action is too low for me. how do i raise it?

Have you checked the neck relief? I'm not sure where you live but right now on the East coast it's been very muggy and humid. A few of my instruments are now buzzing due to the humidity and a neck back bow, so the action's dropped on some. How old are the strings? Considering it's an acoustic instrument, keep it properly humidified/dehumidified (between 40-50
% humidity; get yourself a regulating humidifier if you don't already own one). Beyond that, if the action's still too low you can consider a higher tension string or replaced the bridge saddle.
