On the '78 PBass I just got from GC, the pegs on the tuners (just the part that sticks out from the peghead and holds the windings) seem a little shorter than other sets of tuners from that era that I have seen. Has anyone ever encountered this? I've never noticed this on 70s Fenders or the reissue Fender logo tuners that you can get nowadays.

Thanks :ugeek:

Good thread Matt! You asked a question to which no one had the answer and responded to it yourself...do you any other questions for yourself?
