awesome bass!
Was it Team Built? or built by one of the Master builders?

Beautiful! As someone who came up in the age when 70s Fenders were ridiculed, it's amazing to me how much times have changed that even the CS is giving them some love. I think this was far from their thoughts when the CS was first founded. I bet it sounds better and plays better than an original.

Yes - Fender is a strange company ;) - especially towards us leftys

I got a "nicer" price because I have ordered two CS basses at one time (the Jazz Bass and a PBass which was sold 4 month ago and I have ordered a new one ;) )- because of this pair price the JB was 4700,- Euros (alone it would have been 6150,- Euro) - delivery time was quoted 6-8 month and the JB came exactly after 8 month , 2 days before christmas ;) - what did you have to pay if I may ask ?

this is my Master Built - a customized version of the 64' model (I ordered an Ash body, Block Inlays w. Binding to it) and it's the BEST Bass that I have ever played - they did an incredible job with the wood selection, finish, etc... :

Jules,
who was the builder if I may ask?
I'm really starting to loike the MB CS Fender basses. Seems like overall their quality of work has gone way up in the last two or three years from the limited selection of basses I have seen in that time.

My Bass was built by Dennis Galuszka.

I really had hoped that he would build it. You can also request a specific Master Builder from the CS to built your Bass but (this I was told by my CS dealer) when you want do it this way it can last up to two years till you get your Bass. So you would have to leave it up to them and pray ;) :) - so we said with the order that it would be fine if he could do it (but not requested it) - he did a GREAT job.

He also builds a lot of the CS basses ... also the Marcus Miller CS basses for example - he also has built a Marcus Miller 5 for an old friend of mine and this Bass also must be incredible (what I have heard from him)

Addison,

You mean the one that is posted up here?
If so, what is your feeling about it? Bad or $$$?

Yes, the exact bass listed in this thread is listed in the "Secondhand" section of Arni's site for 4,500 euros.

Just curious as to why he's selling it so soon... seems like a lot of money to spend and a lot of time to wait for something that you're just going to sell right away.

The only reason I'm sad is because I don't have the money to buy it!

Hi!. Yes i Post the bass in arni page to shell. I will do here too. The Reason is: The bass sound really great, aweson and feels play really aweson. But i compared playing with my musicman and i prefere the musicman to my band.
But when i play at home i prefer the fender custom shops!!
These cost me a lot of money and i will not use in live concert. Im not a collector, nad its too much money to have this at Home.

Regards!

Im not very sure with the shell........
