hey guys, anyone ever done a lefty conversion on an ashbory bass? if so how'd it go? id love to give one a whirl, looks fun... |

I did it and it worked out fine. I found a lot of helpful info here: http://www.largesound.com/ashboryarticl ... efthanded/ Admittedly, I was sloppy in the process. I tried several attempts to relocate the lower strap button before I found the best spot, so I have a couple of additional drill holes in mine. I also use an acoustic guitar strap with laces that tie around the headstock just above the nut rather than use the strap button located at the heel of the neck. I found this offers the best overall balance for me. |

I bought mine from LargeSound already converted- very nice piece of work, and not expensive. Rob. |
