Well, I personally don’t get it, but maybe some of you guys do. Years ago, I bought a 10 string Warr guitar because I was obsessed with the Chapman Stick and thought I’d teach my self how to play one. About a month and a half later, I realized it would take me a lifetime to learn how to master it, and gave up.
This thing seems to be a different animal though, and I’m not sure it’s designed exclusively for tappers. Regardless, what benefits would there be to having two sets of bass necks/double bass with the exact same configuration/electronics? (Alternate tunings? Flatwounds vs. rounds?).
