Its on fender website now. And theres one on reverb too. Too bad that the sage green metallic isnt an option for us. I dig the tidepool colour though. A bit steve harris signature looking.

Cool! It's a shame only the black and tidepool Precision come with a maple fingerboard though (and the burst and white only come with pau ferro)! I'd dig a white & maple combo to slap a black pickguard on.

Is that the Fender USA website?

Anyone else find the Fender USA website doesn't work for them? Links to it always default to the wrong page/home page. I find it to generally be a frustrating site. But that may be because I'm viewing it from outside the USA?

Yeah, it re-directs to the USA Fender site which isn't showing me the new basses. Thanks for trying the link though.

When I open the link, it asks if I'm on Finland or USA...
If I select USA it doesn't show me anything but if I select Finland, it shows.

I tried Finland too, no success. So what are the offerings?

I still wanna know why, oh why, Fender has never done a reissue of the original single coil P style in a lefty. Outside of the Telecaster bass, which was issued lefty in very limited quantity way way back when, I don't believe that design or its relatives has ever re-appeared in lefty versions. I'd happily take it in a Squier, or in any other part of the Fender line in a true lefty (outside of paying for a custom shop creation ).

Agreed on the US part - if I select Finland, it takes me to a page with a black P Bass, But, if I try to click on the Sea Foam color, it never renders it, or any other color I try.....

With Summer NAMM coming up in two weeks, I think you'll find Fender will unveil the new line then. I'm thinking as they changed the name of the "American Standard" series, they will also be changing the name of the "Standard". Could be why the Reverb.com listings were pulled. If the date codes on the black P-bass was correct, they started production before the new year.
Only my opinion though.
