I've always wanted one of these, wish it was natural maple but it's got so much mojo I just had to grab it, and the price seemed right:

I see one or two of these pop up per year, but if I have seen a maple one it would have been a looooooong time ago.

A fairly expensive bass for that time... glad to see it has held a respectable resale value. Looks like nice bass...

Got it! She's very nice. Will spend some time with her this weekend and do a set-up with new strings.

I've seen these 80s Carvin lefties go for quite a bit more and have passed on a few. For less than $600 I had to grab it. I might not keep it forever... but it's nice to be able to impulse buy every once in a while. Would happily trade for a Fretless or blonde one... ;)
