If you are interested in a new lefty L1000, contact Greg at Rocket Music. If we can get 6 lefty orders it can happen - we are at 3 now.

I need to get to at least 12 instruments, and 3-4 of them need to be L-1005's. Or I can just do 4-strings with a minimum of 6 orders.

The basses will be $110 MSRP more than the L1500 and L1505, so that makes the starting MSRPs $2110 (L-1000) and $2252 (L-1505). That translates to a starting internet price of $1475 and $1575 (and my prices will be even better than those)... "

I know G&L's are great basses, but for that price, I think I'd rather work with our own resident builder, Rod, from Regenerate Guitars, and get a bass custom-tailored to my tastes... but that's just me....

No argument from me on the RGW build idea - I have one that is modeled after the L1000:

I have noticed the manufacturers have raised their prices over the past year - G&L went up by 2-3 hundred on their models, and MM Stingrays are over 2K retail - wow!

I am guessing the Kiloton coming out might have taken a lot of the steam out of this.

I need to drive down to Rocket Music some day. I'm about 130 miles north, and haven't been down to Blacksburg in a coons age. The new Kiloton is what interests me most. Damn shame Fender doesn't make a lefty Dimension.
