This is a bridge on a Fender P bass with a S6 serial number with a long G and D intonation screws. The long G was around from 69 to 73. Kinda odd that someone would have gone to the trouble to find and add the long D or two long screws. A trip to a well stocked hardware store could provide screws that would work, but they look like all four match. This may be a parts bass or at lease the bridge is a replacement. Looks to be in much better condition than the body. The allen head saddle adjustment screws would indicate it's a newer modified replacement. I believe the true Fender long intonation screw extended a bit pass the bass plate as well.
So probably answered my own question and it's as simple as that, but still got my curiosity going. Just thought I'd pass it on. Interesting the little things that turn up
