Well, looks like we lefties are getting totally stiffed on new basses this year.
I was really hoping that maybe some of the Fender Squire line would go lefty, especially the SCPB and Mustang basses.

Ibanez came out with a lot of nice expansions to their models....no lefties.

Anyone hear/see anything interesting bass-wise from NAMM?

Uh... Boss finally put out a Bass D.I. box
So good for them on catching up on the last decade. They left out the XLR connection though...

Does anyone actually expect Fender to do anything for left handed players at this point?

Really lame NAMM for bass this year, for that matter pretty lame in general this year.
As a retailer, not excited for anything. We got kind of spoiled in 2014.

Went today. 7th year in a row and a total bust for me. Its a game and joke playing Where's Waldo looking for that 1 lefty in an avalanche of righties. And when I did find one, it was the same one they dragged out last year just dusted off.... I'm done with NAMM.

I don't have much interest in basses at NAMM for the reasons you guys are lamenting; there aren't any/very few there left handed or will be released later lefty.

NAMM is all about the amps and effects for me. Bunch of things I'm looking forward to that I've heard of so far:

Orange OB1-500 head
Tech 21 dUg 1000 head
MXR Bass Distortion
Morley Cliff Burton fuzz-wah
EHX Bass Soul Food
Aguilar fuzz pedal
Brimstone Ouroboros pedal

Agree on the amps and electronics side of things. There are some interesting things coming out from Source Audio too.

I guess the plus side is that this helps anyone who trying to sell a second-hand lefty.

A co worker of mine thought the Tech 21 Dug 1000 rig sounded amazing. I'd be interested in trying that one out.

Definitely! Their new version of the Hub is very cool and they now have adapters so you can add non-SA pedals to your Hub.
I don't even own a Hub but I think what they do is pretty incredible.

I saw this Ampeg DI at NAMM. Didn't get to play thru it but looked like a nice portable Preamp DI box with headphone capability.
