Rare as hen's teeth.

Did anybody manage to pick up one of the newer lefty Gibson Midtown basses before they stopped making them? Not really the same bass, I know, but when was the last time Gibson offered a lefty hollowbody?

I bought it on Alibaba.com. Don't expect a plug and play experience though.
The posts holding tail piece were coming out. Had my local guitar shop re-glue the posts and do a complete set up. $100 for the set up and $318 for the guitar. Shipping was free. Plays amazingly well.
