just kiddin'!....had to do that. I'm being stupid.

OK, seriously.

Haven't had the chromes on long (and my amp has gone wonky) but so far very good impression.

My take:

The sound is spot on what I'm seeking. I'm not missing that which is "missing" from the rounds.

The feel is superlative.

the tension seems within the range of discrepancy found amongst popular RWs I've used. Seems very average. maybe because I am using the 45-100 set?

These are my preliminary views...

totally agree. currently i'm using a well aged (almost two years !!) set of Chromes.

TI Flats are also great, they have IMO a higher output than other Flats, but i was never satisfied with their E string. for a reason or another the E string sounds always dull when compared to the A string.
