I just came back home with my new Hiltn 5 string! Super excited, the bass is a dream!
Super light, fast and slim neck, just perfect! And with 24 frets and 36" scale is even shorter than my Fender j-bass.
I've played it only for half an hour, but it has the perfect sound... Just love it!

I'll post more and better pictures tomorrow, along with all the wood details, etc.
Here is a pic of the bass side by side with my j bass and another one with Pete this morning when I picked it up here in Brooklyn.

Wow, that's sick! Weird in a good way, and beautiful woodwork and detailing. The wood fingerboard bindings, the decorative laminates, the carving of the upper horn scroll... Beautiful!
