Might need therapy after seeing some of these basses. You have been warned!

ya Frenchy its actually an old Charvel 575 I bought off of a TB'er cheap with that stuff already on it and thought that would be great for a Halloween gig cause there was no way I was gluing tigerfur on my lefty unit. I actually played it flipped for the one gig-party to get a reaction. I was in the process of taking off the strings and taking it apart when I took the picture. It now sits in a box until some weird event requires me to put it back together and play it.....lol

( it is actually blue )

Yes, Bas Wittenberg has built some amazing stuff over the years! Most were experiments, with very unusual materials, just to prove a point ("Plastic and multiplex can sound great", "Frets don't need to be straight if you only have one string per neck"). I know a guy who has actually owned three of them (the "Plywood babe" he had painted metallic purple, the "Punk rock classic" that has mostly just hung there to adorn his wall, and the "Little zebra" 2-string that he ended up giving away to a talented young bass player who came by his place to buy another of his basses). This guy has an amazing taste in basses, so I have absolutely no clue what drew him to actually buy those three :P

that purple one has the ritter jupiter look to it.

I wonder how many songs I could play with a 2 string bass without getting tired from so much hand position changing moving all the time on the neck to make up the difference...lol
