What bass would you guys buy if you were trying to get the P bass sound for under $1000? I've been looking for a decent left handed P bass copy, but I haven't had much luck. Things would be much easier if Squier would just offer the Classic Vibe left handed. *le sigh*

I'm pretty sure you can find a original P, used, for under 1000$. Just keep an eye on the 'bay

+1. I recently sold my American P on the bay for ~700.
