I just received this from Scotland:

http://www.acguitars.co.uk/Gallery/316/

All I can say is - wow! It's a modern take on a jazz bass and it rocks. I've only had a little noddling time on it, but I can say with the 4 way selector and the eq it has a huge variety of tones. Fit and finish is beautiful, and I like the looks. I was talking to Alan about a custom build but he had this in stock and I jumped on it - glad I did. It is also quite a bit lighter than my last 5 string - the Modulus I just sold here. Actually tone-wise this one is somewhat similar. One cool thing is you can put the two pickups in series - very growly. The neck p'up soloed is sweet too - kinda pbass like. Me likey :)
I think I am getting hooked on boutique - not good for the back account but they are light and they look and sound great.

PM Alan for pricing. Weight is 9 lbs by the bathroom scale method. It really balances well.

Very nice! I've always admired the basses ACG builds, and this is no exception! Although his basses are usually very dramatic in woods and body design, it's nice to see a bass that follows more traditional form.... sound bites please! ;)

Wow, that's beautiful! Cool take on the classic Jazz Bass theme, I love the bodyshape.
Interesting and unusual electronics, especially for ACG. I always connect ACG with their cool Wal-style filter preamp. I like the 4-way switching and the benefit of a passive tone control in addition to the active 2-band! I also really like the pickup placement on this bass, with the bridge pickup close to the bridge. Very nice bass. Enjoy! :)
