Found these NOS unlined German wenge fretless necks Dana B Goods had left over from their Warwick days, $250 obo. They were made late 90's. Any insider knowledge on these, like great deal or be very afraid? Thnx

Fivebass, found 2 more lefty necks, I pulled the trigger on the fretless 5 & will be attaching it to my RB Corvette, keeping my b/o thumb 5 as is.

Hi,
I bought such a neck mid december 2011. Because I live in Europe and Dana B Goods only ships to the US, I had to make some arrangements with somebody I know living in the US, and was willing to ship the neck to me.
Finally, it arrived well packed and in perfect condition.
After mounting it on my Warwick Corvette Standard and putting on Rotosound Jazz Flats 77, I was surprised by the amount of sustain and beautiful 'wood' sound.



Today I put some fretboard oil on the ebony which gave it much more deep kind of gloss.
Anyway, I can really recommend buying these necks!

Yep, I had a friend in the US post my 5 string unlined fretless neck to me here in Japan & it arrived last week. Wenge neck, ebony board, no lines, sweet as!! Just need to have it drilled & fitted to my Corvette Rockbass body & I have a faux German Proline! Will also post pics once it's done. Like a kid in a candy store!
