I remember when I used to schlepp one of these AND an SVT to gigs. Along with the keybordist's B3 and Leslie. I was running a Ric in 'stereo' mode in those days.

Ah ... the good ole days ....

Seems like the bass player always brings all of the good stuff, and helps in bringing everything else... PA, etc!

I'll take this opportunity to share my experience of seeing John Paul Jone's ACTUAL Acoustic amp, bought at a Christie's auction and stored in an undisclosed location :)
That's me in the green, with the giddy grin. My workmates were less enthusiastic about the encounter than I was. Of course, JPJ was a big reason I started playing bass to begin with, so this was a borderline religious experience for me!
If I ever had to haul one from gig to gig, I may be less excited about the amp.....

Uhhhh, in the green with the giddy grin... left or right side of the cabinet?.................... kidding, just kidding! ;) Must have been a religious experience, laying hands on that cabinet... what did the cabinet sell for at auction?

$27k. Actually not bad if you really think about the historical significance.
