I love that blue in the Rick but dont the 4003's have the white binding? Still i just love it.. |

The regular 4003 does, but the 4003S is a slightly stripped down version without the triangular inlays and bindings and with rounded body edges. I think the S version is prettier, and more comfortable too. Looks great Matt! I love these in Midnight Blue. |

Fun fact: I managed to damage the coil on the bridge pickup the other day (after a whopping 2 days of ownership) while installing a treble bezel on this bass. So now, since there’s no warranty coverage for being a dumbass, the pickup is currently on the way to Lindy Fralin to be re-wound.
