Here's some pics and a video of my 1-year old Martin bass. I play in a classical chamber ensemble and the occasional (swing) jazz combo.
For nuance purposes, please use headphones - sound source is just a small camera:

Gorgeous instrument and serious skills you possess. :)

I'm checking out their website now. What model did you purchase? Do they offer all of their models left handed? And what was the lead time?

Thanks

It's their 3/4 model. I suppose all bass models can be ordered in a lefty version, though I'm not sure of their concert range.

Beautiful bass, but I shudder to think what the shipping cost from the UK to Arizona would be.
Nice playing too!!!

:? Excuse my ignorance but it looks symmetrical to me what is the difference between a righty and lefty.

Internal bracing, I believe. Is one key factor.

Here's a solid explanation of the differences between a righty and lefty. Long story short: You can't just flip the nut and restring it:

That's a seriously attractive instrument.

If you had learned playing right handed stringing, then you can just stand on the other side of a righty AUB. ;)

EUB, on the other hand, ought to be fairly easy to reverse string - but many have those tubing support frames that are handed and they often place the pickup controls over the side where you can't even see them from the "wrong" side!
If I wanted one of those EUB's, I'd have to get a lefty AND reverse the strings

Oh but double bass strings and the cost of them! I thought I'd found some reasonably cheap sets only to discover that price was for single strings! Basically, you pay for a single string what you would for a set of electric bass strings.
